Scan to Folder MacOS

Setting on MacOS

Create a folder on your desktop, e.g. “Scan”. Then go to System Preferences – General (1) – Sharing (2) and activate “File Sharing (3)”.

Now please click on the “I” behind the activated file sharing to assign folder permissions for your user.

Add your created folder using the “+”. Then select your user and set the permissions to “Read & Write”.

Now click on “Options” and check if “Share files and folders over SMB” is enabled and your user is enabled.

If the firewall is also activated on your Mac, please check whether the following settings are set.
To do this, go to System Preferences -> Network -> Firewall -> Options.

Command Center Settings

Access the CommandCenter via your browser by entering the IP address of the machine. Log in to the CommandCenter with “ Admin ” as the user and password.
Select “Add to local address book” to create a new contact and fill in the marked points 1-3:

1 -> Hostname = IP address of the target
2 -> Path = Name of the folder in which the scan should be saved
3 -> Login username / Login password = User login

The Scan to Folder MacOS setup is complete.
