Installation
For installation under Unix and Linux systems please use generic PCL or PostScript drivers or the PPD file.
CUPS (Common Unix Printing System) is preinstalled on most Linux systems.
This provides both generic PCL and PostScript drivers and can alternatively load device-specific PPD (PostScript Printer Description) files.
Possible issues
In order to prevent possible issues in the Unix/Linux environment, it is recommended to adapt the emulation used for the print settings on the device.
For PCL based print jobs please set the emulation to PCLXL.
For PostScript based print jobs please set the emulation to KPDL(AUTO).
